29 Sep 1875: report of new Orderville settlement (organized in July), led by Bishop Howard O. Spencer, who also presides over all of Long Valley
entity #800117, assertion #4007979 by bplewe on 2021-01-26: confidence 100%.
described by: Orderville History
entity #700422, assertion #4009812 by bplewe on 2022-02-20: confidence 100%.
notes: Because Orderville was led by Howard O. Spencer, who was also bishop of all of Long Valley, it is likely that Orderville did not have a distinct organization, as Glendale and Mt. Carmel seem to have. In ward directories in Deseret News 1875-06-09, Glendale and Mt. Carmel are new; Long Valley is still there, but with Howard O. Spencer, the Bishop of Orderville, instead of James Leithead, the Bishop of Glendale
