notes: CDOL says it opened August 20 1923, but this was merely a conference at which it was first proposed. MS 85:807 indicates that by December 1923, the future mission area was under the direct supervision of the European Mission President until a French Mission President could be called, and the gradual reorganization was completed on Feburary 24.
