description:Phineas Wright went on mission to South Grove, Sharon in 1846 and reported visiting the Parmer Settlement. The branch was presided over by Caleb Hall and brother Stiles from Beloit met him in the branch. There were 10 members in 1847. Another visit in June of 1849 to the Duty family was made by James Strang. Strang went from Pramers settlement south to Beaverton, Illinois. “George Pramers’ son, Fremont P. Pramer was a popular farmer in Sharon. Mr. Pramer was born on January 16, 1863, in Sharon township.
