description: The 20th we went to see Mr. Stonewall and bore our to M Jos Warney in Burn Town and asked him for the use of the Schoole house, but said that he and the other two of the trustee would give their Consent to all Christian preachers except a Mormon, we tried to reason with him, but all in vain, it rained hard and we got wet all through. we walked to Anoka and was well received by Bro. Jos Bevince, we stoped with him till the 22nd when we walked to Bro. Holst in Burn, the 17th, I have now been waiting here for 4 days for the arrivel of Elders from Utah, but in vain, I would be pleased to get a partner to travel with, but if they dont get here to day, I most leave for my field of labor, having an appointment to fill for next Sunday at Burn, Anoka Co, 25 miles from here, the 18th Went over to visit Mr. Shoferner and family and had a Conversation with them, The 19th I crossed the great Mississippy and walked to Elk River, took Dinner with Sister Stretch, after 11 miles walk from Monticello, I on my way again to Ramsy town, and stoped with Mr. Nielson, a Swidish family, I bore testimony to the family Consirning the Kingdom of God, and they attended prayer with me, the 20th I walked to Burn, to Mr and Mrs. Stonewall and had along Convirsations with them upon the principles of the Gospel, from there I went to Bro. N. Holst, 21st I went to Mr. Wilborgs house, where I had a Meeting appointed, I addressed the Congragation upon the first principles of the Gospel, and gave them Chapters & verses for the same, had a good little Meeting,?
