Shippy, of the priests, Also on October 18, 1887, a branch was organized at Chase, Lake County, by John J. Cornish, assisted by Elder John Shippy, with Elder Silas Wheaton president. Elder Wheaton was a member of the old organization, known as the Chase Branch. John J. Cornish had done some preaching at Chase, a place opened up by him some time ago ?
