description: Elder J J Fuller organized the branch on May 31, 1884 with members on either side of the state line. "Thomas Gilbert was ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood and to the office of priest and set apart to preside in the Wolf Creek Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by Pres J. J. Fuller." In attendance were 5 members, 13 guests and 4 Elders. In total 41 baptisms were recorded before branch records were discontinued in 1888.?
