notes: Named after James Allred and his extended family. Only an approximate location can be estimated: circumstantial evidence places it near Plum Hollow, Macedonia Camp, Big Spring on Mosquito, Pleasant Grove, Indian Milll, High Prairie, and Indian Creek. Journal History of the Church 12/28/1847 states that it was 5 miles East of Kanesville on the main road, which would put it just Southeast of Carterville.
