notes: According to Fourth ward history (Saunders), the 2nd district in 1863 became the Ogden 4th Ward in 1877, but the documented boundaries show that it mostly overlapped the previous 1st Ward, which moved significantly in 1877. The Encyclopedic History and other histories based on it and its sources claim the 4th Ward was organized in 1856, but there is no good evidence of anything on Ogden City prior to 1877 (the 1863 Fourth District was West Weber).
